A technology company in the UK is looking for a Power Platform Engineer to develop and support solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This role involves architecting Power Apps, automating workflows with Power Automate, and creating Power BI dashboards for data analysis. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or related fields, strong SQL skills, and experience with C#, JavaScript, or Python. This position will be responsible for building and supporting the Microsoft Power Platform solutions that power Nano Fibre UK’s fibre-to-the-home rollout. We engineer and extend Power Apps, Dataverse schemas, Power Automate flows, Power Pages portals, Power BI dataflows—and integrate with SQL Server, Azure services and custom C# components—to equip our installation engineers, finance, H&S, fleet and storeroom teams, and customer service staff with the tools they need every day. As we mature our platform, you’ll help formalize our governance, CI/CD pipelines and API-driven integrations (including webhooks, custom connectors and RESTful services).
As a Power Platform Engineer, you’ll design, implement and support:
Your work will ensure reliable data ingestion (via Power Query dataflows, Azure Data Factory or SSIS), robust automation between systems, and high-quality reporting—all while we establish best practices around environments, solution ALM (Azure DevOps/Git), security roles, and scalable solution patterns.
