We are seeking a Finance Manager/ Business Partner to oversee financial planning and operational processes within the not-for-profit sector. This role in Manchester requires expertise in accounting and finance to ensure effective financial management and compliance.

You will be joining our forward looking, customer focused housing association providing social and affordable homes across Manchester.

• Leading on the finance business partnering function and building effective relationships with the business to help understand what is driving their activity and improving value for money.
• Working closely with the Finance Partners to deliver high quality monthly management accounts.
• Influencing decision making across the organisations by providing analysis, commentary and scenario planning.
• Leading on the budget setting process and financial modelling.

A successful Finance Manager - Operations should have:

• Strong experience in financial management within the Housing/not-for-profit sector.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a finance team.
• Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.

• Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000 per annum.
