A recruitment agency seeks a Personal Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance and planning from their North Somerset office. The successful candidate will prepare individual tax returns and manage the delivery of compliance services for a diverse client base, including HNWIs and corporate clients. Applicants should have a qualification such as CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA, with four to five years of personal tax experience. The role offers a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, along with negotiable benefits.
Based in north Somerset, south of Bristol the firm acts for wide ranging individuals, some HNWIs, Directors of their OMB and corporate clients and other private clients providing a quality personal tax compliance service , along with working partnering with legal firms on estate tax returns and capital gains tax reports and other advisory work.
Joining as Personal Tax Manager based from the firms north Somerset offices you will manage the delivery of compliance and wider tax planning for a wide-ranging client base. You will be hands on preparing tax returns for individuals and some estate tax returns alongside reviewing and managing the delivery of a quality compliance service. You will also work on wide ranging tax planning project work across capital gains tax, and other project work. The role provides an ideal opportunity for the right professional looking to looking to carve an influential, key support role as the firms go to personal tax expert.
For this Personal Tax Manager role you may be either CTA and/or, ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified and you may have developed a focused personal tax career within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm background, with at least four to five years experience or more focused in personal tax. Your experience will have been developed in any mix of larger tier firms, or small/medium, or larger regional accountancy firm background.
