Job summary
A leading Defence organisation is looking for an organised and detail-driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This hybrid position involves supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors and ensuring accurate management of project data under the NEC contract. Experience in the Defence sector and strong data handling skills are essential. This position offers a daily rate of £350-450 for a contract lasting 6-12 months.

Responsibilities
- Support Senior Quantity Surveyors and the Commercial Team.
- Ensure project and contract data is captured accurately.
- Validate and report on contract data for infrastructure projects.

An exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Defence organisation, in support of business-critical, infrastructure projects, under the NEC form of contract.
You will play a key role in supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors and the Commercial Team, ensuring that project and contract data is captured, validated, and reported accurately.
This role will suit someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent data handling skills, and a good understanding of construction project processes.
- Prior experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (QS).
- Experience working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, or Commercial.
- Prior experience within Defence.
- Working knowledge of NEC contract processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
