Job summary
A local care service provider in Broadfield seeks self-employed carers to support a 22-year-old man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in his family home. Ideal candidates are caring, proactive, and motivated individuals who possess excellent communication skills. Previous experience in care is desirable, but full training will be provided. A driver’s license is required. Flexible shifts available evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in care is desirable but not necessary.
- You must have a positive attitude and good work ethic.
- A full, clean driver’s license and insurance is required for work purposes.
Responsibilities
- Support a 22-year-old man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in his home.
- Cover evening and weekend shifts for 18 hours.
- Provide comprehensive support with all aspects of care.
Skills
We are looking for the right people to join a team of SELF-EMPLOYED CARERS to work with a young 22-year-old man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy living in the family home.
18 hours are available to cover evenings and weekends.
We are looking for caring, proactive, and motivated individuals with a passion for supporting others, ideally someone with a good sense of humour and who is down to earth. Someone willing to support with all aspects of care. Ideally, these people will be reliable, consistent, and work in a person-centred way.
Previous experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided. A positive attitude and good work ethic is also essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full, clean license and insurance is required for work purposes.
