We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service Team based at Haywood Lodge, St George's hospital in Stafford as a Community Mental Health Support Worker.
The multi-disciplinary team provides a 24/7 service to the population aged 16 and above residing in the Southwest Staffordshire Locality delivering urgent response and a comprehensive Mental Health Assessment to people who are presenting in an acute Mental Health Crisis, and Home Treatment to those people requiring a period of short-term intensive intervention.
You will need to travel independently over a large geographical area to see service users in their homes, so you will need access to suitable transport.
This role is made up of shift patterns covering 24/7, you will be required to work night shifts as part of this role.
Under the direction of the senior health and social care staff in the team and/or the shift coordinator you will assist in delivering interventions with an allocated group of service users with mental health needs.
