A financial services firm based in Edinburgh seeks a Technology & Information Security Risk Manager. You will provide independent risk oversight of Technology while working on key initiatives with senior management. The role requires significant experience in Technology Risk Management, excellent communication and multitasking skills, and the ability to handle confidential projects. You will also manage relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and conducting risk assessments.
Edinburgh, Bristol or London (Hybrid)
Based in any of the above office locations for a minimum of three days a week, with flexibility to work from home some days.
The Technology & Information Security Risk Manager reports to CCT Chief Risk Officer and is a vital member of Computershare’s Risk and Compliance Department. The role is responsible for providing independent risk oversight of the Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) Technology Group, reviewing policies and standards, conducting technology risk assessments and reporting. In addition, this role will lead certain Risk Management initiatives for our Computershare Trust Company, National Association, Delaware and India entities.
You will champion and support the development, implementation, and monitoring of technology risk across Computershare.
The Senior Technology Risk Consultant will have significant experience in Technology Risk Management or equivalent Technology experience in financial services. Experience in informing and educating employees and communicating with senior managers within Technology and Information Security groups is key. The successful candidate will require excellent organisation skills and will be highly adept at multitasking within clearly defined timelines. In addition the role will require developed communication skills, providing clear written and/or verbal communications in response to Technology developments, risk assessments and change management initiatives as well as inquiries from the CCT business and internal and external audits.
You will hold excellent people/relationship-building skills, adopt tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging initiatives or confidential projects.
