A leading global ICT provider in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced IFM Manager to oversee campus and office management. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of IFM management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Responsibilities include managing the office environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing workplace processes. Job description

We are looking for an experienced multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and a consistent upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management to the company by handling a variety of office management, campus management, project management and the team management.

Responsibilities
  • Office environment management: including space management and daily operations of each office, track the repair requests and monitor the progress till full delivery of service. Ensure all the PPMs are scheduled correctly and carried out on time and meet requirements.
  • Campus management, including QEHS management, property management, insurance management, resource management, expense management, risk control and other related local law and Huawei regulation compliance management.
  • EHS management: To ensure full compliance and mitigate potential risks for the business. Including develop annual EHS workplan, office/fire risk assessment, necessary EHS training and review/update EHS related process and policies etc.
  • IFM supplier management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the daily contract management, daily operation communication with site team and IFM suppliers, and monthly/quarterly meeting with IFM suppliers; budget & expense management, KPI management. Familiar with IFM supplier bidding process and be able to lead the bidding project to meet business requirement.
  • Tenants management, including the lease contract management, service fee management (inc the utility fee), daily communication, dispute management.
  • Project management of campus/office, e.g. the office decoration project, office relocation project, other small renovation projects etc.
  • Develop, optimize, publish and monitor the fulfilment local workplace management process, regulation and baseline. (process, policy, and benchmark management)
  • Team management. Organize the team work to make all the goals well achieved based on the timeline. Develop the team ability.

The ideal successful candidate will be an experienced IFM manager preferably with whole building management and/or campus management; ideally also new building management experience. The candidate should be professional, attentive with a good understanding of processes and an attention to detail. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly and be responsible for the result. The successful candidate must be a team player comfortable with computers, including computer software such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as proficient in both business English written and verbal communication. In short the role would best suit a result-oriented, experienced, resourceful all-rounder. However most importantly, she/ he should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

Required
  • IFM management experienced no less than 5 years. And both working in R&D related companies and working in Global IFM companies preferred.
  • Relevant QEHS qualifications
  • Supplier management or team management experience no less than 3 years.
  • Good communication ability.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Team spirit, openness for an international environment;
  • Result-driven attitude;
  • Well-organized and structured working style.
Desired
  • Understanding of local Law/Finance/Insurance industries or other relevant background or specialized qualification in Facility and/or Construction Management
  • RE related qualifications preferred.
  • Language skills: Predominately English, however candidates that can also speak Mandarin, would be of great interest.
