We have an opportunity for a Health and Social Care Assessor, considering both qualified and unqualified assessors with senior experience in an Elderly care setting.
Job Details
- Title: Health and Social Care Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
- Location: Home/Field based – managing a caseload across South Devon and Cornwall (must be flexible with travel)
- Salary: £27,000 starting, up to £30,000 + BONUS

Essential Criteria
- Own Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above
- Solid occupational experience as a Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or higher within an Elderly Care setting
- Assessors award or willingness to work towards
- Good ICT skills
- Ability to deliver Functional Skills confidently
- Full clean driving license and vehicle, flexible with travel
Responsibilities
- Assess and support learners in Health and Social Care up to Level 5
- Deliver training and support Functional Skills
- Manage your diary for timely visits and reviews
- Maintain learner documentation
- Support, advise, and motivate learners
- Overcome learning barriers and adapt delivery
- Meet KPI targets for visits, paperwork, and admin
- Participate in learner recruitment to maintain caseload
