Contract: Permanent, Full‑time
Salary: Competitive – depending on experience (School Support Staff Scale)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience (ideally within education, HR or a people‑focused environment) ready to take on meaningful responsibility within a thriving school.

HR Administrator – The Role

As the HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school’s HR operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing staff recruitment processes – advertising roles, shortlisting, arranging interviews and onboarding
  • Processing pre‑employment checks such as DBS, references, right‑to‑work and safeguarding documentation
  • Maintaining accurate staff records and updating the school’s HR and MIS systems
  • Supporting staff absences, leave requests and attendance monitoring
  • Assisting with payroll preparation and liaising with external payroll providers
  • Supporting performance management processes, training records and staff CPD bookings
  • Providing general HR and administrative support to the SLT and the School Business Manager
