Job summary
A local council organization is seeking Waking Night Officers in Doncaster. The role involves providing overnight care for children with disabilities and complex care needs. - Complete housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork.
- Work independently overnight with support from a sleeping-in staff member.
- Respond to emergencies and liaise with police and social care if required.
- Cover additional night shifts when needed due to leave or sickness.

- Location: Doncaster
- Contract type: Permanent, part-time
- Hours: 21 hours per week (waking nights)
- Salary: £28,132 per year + 17.5% all-inclusive night allowance
- Disclosure: Enhanced DBS required
- Provide overnight care and regularly check on children during the night
- Ensure the home is safe, secure, and well maintained
