- Strong track record of delivering environmental assessments including BREEAM, LEED, Ska and/or WELL
- In‑depth understanding of environmental policy, sustainability legislation and best practice
- Experience leading or managing sustainability workstreams within design teams
- Proficiency with life‑cycle analysis tools such as OneClick LCA
- Experience delivering net zero carbon, circularity and embodied carbon assessments
- Strong technical writing abilities, including complex reports and planning documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Ability to mentor and support junior team members
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
You will have the opportunity to lead on a broad portfolio of high‑profile projects across workplace, healthcare, education, cultural, heritage, leisure and residential sectors. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of sustainability strategies and frameworks
- Overseeing net zero carbon assessments (operational and embodied)
- Managing lifecycle and circularity assessments
- Leading environmental and wellbeing assessments including BREEAM, LEED, Ska and WELL
- Guiding planning documentation such as Sustainability and Energy Statements
- Supporting NABERS, post‑occupancy evaluation and building optimisation
- Providing ESG‑related consultancy
- Advising design teams to influence proposals and champion low‑impact, healthy, future‑ready solutions
- Supporting business development, thought leadership and internal upskilling initiatives
- Contributing to the company's sustainability strategy and internal environmental management
