Our Team

The Global Opportunities strategy started in 1988 and currently manages in excess of $46 billion in assets across a wide range of industries and geographies. It emphasizes an opportunistic, value-oriented, and risk-controlled approach to investments in private equity, listed equities, distressed / corporate debt, convertible securities, and real estate.

The London-based team is composed of 13 investment professionals and has a regional focus on EMEA and Latin America.

Scope and Responsibilities

• Creating detailed financial models and investment memoranda related to potential opportunities and existing investments;
• Assisting in all aspects of underwriting and due diligence of investment opportunities across multiple sectors;
• Assisting in business, market research, industry analysis, accounting and legal due diligence where applicable; and
• Assisting in monitoring and managing existing investments.

Experience required

• Requires 1-3 years of experience with a top-tier Investment Bank, Private Equity, Restructuring Advisory Boutique, Hedge Fund or Strategy Consulting Firm across Corporate and Real Estate;
• Demonstrated competency in financial analysis, due diligence, valuations, preparing investment memorandums and advanced financial modeling; and
• Proven ability to multi-task, understand and grasp new structures and concepts quickly.

Education

Bachelor(s) degree from a top university.Advanced Degree and/or Business, Finance or Economics concentration a plus.
