Job description
Role Purpose

PIC is seeking an Aladdin Investment Platform Services (IPS) Analyst to serve as a senior subject matter expert, delivering high‑quality support, guidance, and technical insight across our investment platform. You’ll collaborate closely with Investments, Investment Operations, and IT to resolve complex queries, drive platform improvements, and enhance systems, processes, and technology that underpin our investment activities.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong, collaborative relationships across the business and with external vendors to ensure the platform is fully understood, effectively used, and continuously enhanced.

Risk & Control Awareness – Proactively identify and elevate risks, dependencies, and compliance considerations linked to platform usage.

Solution Design & Value Delivery – Partner with users to understand requirements, advise on platform capabilities, and design practical, value‑driving solutions.

Change Enablement – Support the successful planning and delivery of change initiatives. Represent the platform in change forums and ensure smooth implementation of updates and enhancements.

Vendor Management – Act as the primary day‑to‑day liaison with the platform provider, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.

Continuous Improvement – Champion ongoing improvements in platform utilisation, support processes, and internal knowledge‑sharing.

Reporting & Insight – Provide clear, timely updates, metrics, and insights to stakeholders and governance groups.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience working in a regulated (PRA or FCA) corporate environment in the Finance sector, (E.g. banking, asset management, insurance or hedge fund).

Technical
  • Expert knowledge of BLK Aladdin, with bonus advantage for experience in Finbourne’s LUSID and/or Murex
  • Strong understanding of key asset classes, particularly Fixed Income and Derivatives
  • Solid grasp of end‑to‑end investment processes and platforms — including order management, portfolio construction, trading, compliance, settlements, reconciliations, and corporate actions
  • Proven experience working closely with investment operations and front‑office teams
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver enhancements and practical solutions on investment platforms
  • Strong track record of partnering with external vendors and internal teams to drive effective change
