Job summary
A leading recycling and circular economy firm in Southeast England is looking for a Group Head of HSE. This pivotal role requires over 10 years of HSE leadership experience to drive compliance and best practice across sites, ensuring the highest health, safety, and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will possess the NEBOSH Diploma and demonstrate the ability to engage at all organizational levels. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £70-80,000.
Qualifications
- 10+ years' HSE leadership experience, ideally in waste management.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic safety initiatives across multi-site operations.
- Deep knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading and implementing a group-wide HSE strategy to ensure compliance.
- Driving governance and compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Supporting site teams with risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Championing cultural change and mentoring HSE professionals.
