A global law firm in the City of London seeks a Deputy Head of Tax to support the Head of Tax in managing complex international tax issues. This senior leadership role involves advising on tax compliance and collaborating with various departments to implement solutions. The ideal candidate is ACA/CTA qualified with significant experience in international tax and partnership matters, and possesses strong communication and project management skills. The firm offers a competitive salary and a flexible, hybrid working environment.
We have partnered with one of our global law firm clients on a newly created, Deputy Head of Tax hire to join their dynamic tax team. This senior leadership role will involve supporting the Head of Tax while managing complex tax matters across international projects, cross-border structures, and partnership arrangements within a global professional services network.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, advising on international tax implications, and contributing to strategic initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. Whilst this is currently a number two position, this hire has been created as succession planning for the current Head of Tax who plans to retire in the next three years.
My client is a future-facing global law firm with offices across multiple jurisdictions. Their approach combines deep local market knowledge with a global perspective, enabling us to anticipate challenges and deliver innovative solutions. Diversity, inclusion, and social responsibility are at the heart of their culture, ensuring every individual can thrive and reach their full potential. They are committed to creating an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated.
