Robert Half are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to be based in Chippenham on a temporary basis for up to 6 months.
Working in a busy team, this would suit you if you have strong transactional finance skills. The role will cover:
- Administer the Finance Email Inbox, ensuring all purchase orders are allocated to the correct budget and ensuring they are approved by the appropriate budget holder.
- Receive and process invoices via the finance software, ensuring that the goods and services are marked as received, chasing Budget Holders for authorisations.
- Prepare the weekly payment runs (BACS and cheque).
- Receive and prepare monies for banking and posting to the finance system.
- Fortnightly lodgement of funds to the local bank.
- Raise invoices to outside bodies for charges and post income.
- Receive and check all statements from suppliers.
- Administer and reconcile the petty cash system.
- Administer payments and reconcile.
