Responsibilities
  • Be a trusted financial advisor to our fee‑earning teams, building strong relationships and providing commercial insights that make a difference.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, accurate management information for partners, departments, and senior stakeholders.
  • Support our budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring plans are robust, realistic, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Dive into ad hoc performance analysis, exploring everything from variance and cost trends to profitability drivers and survey data.
  • Champion data accuracy and integrity, ensuring our systems and data structures, from client hierarchies to matter types, are used effectively.
  • Help to shape the future of our reporting by developing smarter, more intuitive management reporting tools and processes.
The Team

You’ll be part of their Finance Department, a talented group of around 30 professionals working across three key areas - Financial Control, Financial Operations, and Financial Reporting. You’ll work under the guidance of the Head of Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis, collaborating closely with colleagues who are passionate about making finance work smarter, not harder.

  • You’re a qualified or part‑qualified finance professional (or have equivalent experience) with a background in professional services or partnership environments.
  • You’re confident working independently, using your judgement and experience to tackle most challenges that come your way.
  • You know how to build credible relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • You’re analytical, curious, and great at turning complex data into clear, actionable insight.
  • You’re tech‑savvy, comfortable with financial systems and software, and always open to learning more.
