A leading arts university in the North of England is seeking a Finance Team member to manage income, expenditure, and reconciliations. This role requires AAT level 4 or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA, along with excellent communication skills and substantial finance experience. The position offers a hybrid working environment with the primary location at the University campus in Leeds, ensuring flexibility in work arrangements.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Operations, the post holder will join a small but busy Finance Team.
The role involves recording the University’s income and expenditure, producing weekly bank reconciliations, and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
To be successful, you must possess excellent communication skills and have substantial and relevant finance experience, including maintaining cashbooks, producing bank reconciliations and maintaining a Fixed Asset Register.
AAT level 4 qualification, or being part‑qualified with CIMA or ACCA, is required.
