Our client, a fast‑growing business services company, is looking for a talented Finance Manager to join their purpose‑driven, high‑performing team. This hands‑on role is ideal for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2–3 years’ post‑qualification experience, who thrives in a fast‑paced, scale‑up environment. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance to oversee financial accounting, reporting, planning, and compliance, ensuring robust financial controls and accurate reporting while driving process improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly management information and day‑to‑day accounting operations (AP/AR, payroll, expenses).
  • Maintain internal controls and support statutory accounts preparation and audits.
  • Oversee cash flow and rolling forecasts.
  • Monitor budgets and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory tax requirements.
  • Improve and streamline financial systems and processes to support growth.
  • Line management of one finance officer.
About You
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2–3 years post‑qualification experience.
  • Experience in a Finance Manager or similar role, ideally in a scale‑up or SME.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, balance sheet accounting, revenue recognition, and working capital management.
  • Skilled in Xero, Microsoft Office, and digital financial systems.
  • Analytical, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
