An educational organization is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Future Teacher Pathway focused on Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role offers recent graduates the chance to gain classroom experience while supporting students, particularly those with additional learning needs. The position includes mentorship and opportunities to progress to a funded Teacher Training Programme, leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Astro Education is proud to partner with St Bart s Multi-Academy Trust to deliver a Graduate Teaching Assistant Scheme, designed to provide a structured and supported pathway into a teaching career with a strong emphasis on Special Educational Needs (SEN).
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed graduates with degrees in English, Mathematics, Science, or related subjects (graduates from other disciplines are also encouraged to apply). This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on classroom experience supporting students, including those with additional learning needs, while developing the skills and confidence to progress onto Teacher Training and achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
