Job summary
A leading logistics company in Irthlingborough is seeking a qualified Counterbalance Forklift Driver for immediate start. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, picking, loading, and unloading goods with an RF scanner, while maintaining warehouse cleanliness. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Counterbalance licence and have a basic understanding of forklift operations. Training in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety is provided. This position offers statutory holiday entitlement, weekly pay, and a pension scheme.

G R Employment Ltd is looking for a qualified Counterbalance Forklift Driver. This position is for an immediate start in the Wellingborough NN9 5DB area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading companies in dried fruits, nuts, and seeds. The company has been manufacturing for over 100 years here in the UK and providing healthy, nutritious snacks.
Monday to Friday: 7 AM to 3 PM (with one weekend of Saturday and Sunday shifts every 5 weeks, on a rota basis)
Hourly Rate: £12.89 per hour
Overtime Rate: £19.33 per hour (After 40 hours)
Your daily responsibilities include operating a forklift and picking, loading, and unloading vehicles. You will be using a truck with an RF scanner to pick up and transfer stock to its designated product location. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and performing general warehouse tasks. It is essential to have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Most importantly, you should be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid Counterbalance licence.
- Preferred basic experience with forklift trucks.
- Food Hygiene and Health and safety training will be given when required.
