Job summary
A well-established logistics company based near Carlisle is seeking experienced Fork Lift Truck Drivers for immediate starts. The role involves safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading goods, and adhering to health and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have a valid FLT licence and previous forklift experience. Competitive pay at £13.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime and various shift patterns. Own transport is essential for this role.

Education
We are currently recruiting experienced Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Drivers on behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable business based near Carlisle. Due to continued growth and increased workload, they are looking to expand their team and can offer immediate starts for the right candidates.
This role would suit reliable, hardworking individuals who are confident operating a forklift in a fast‑paced environment and who are looking for stable, ongoing work with competitive rates of pay.
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
- 12‑hour day shifts: 4 on / 4 off (6:00 am – 6:00 pm)
£13.00 per hour
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Night shift overtime paid at 20% premium
- Sunday shifts paid at double time
- Regular overtime opportunities available
- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods
- Moving stock within the warehouse or yard
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Supporting general warehouse operations where required
- A valid FLT licence
- Previous experience operating a forklift truck
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulationsGood timekeeping and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
