A leading recruitment agency is looking for a reliable Forklift Counterbalance Driver in Shrewsbury. The role involves safely operating forklifts in a busy food manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience and relevant certification. This position offers £13.96 per hour on a 4 on/4 off rota with potential temp-to-perm opportunities.
Qualifikationen
- Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a manufacturing or food environment.
- Relevant forklift certification (counterbalance, reach truck, or similar).
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.

- Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products around the warehouse/factory.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our busy food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating forklifts safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of health and safety. This is potentially a Temp-to-Perm (T2P) role for the right candidate.
- Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products around the warehouse/factory
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and food hygiene standards
- Support team members to ensure smooth production flow
- Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a manufacturing or food environment, with a minimum of 2 recent years using a forklift counterbalance licence
- Relevant forklift certification (counterbalance, reach truck, or similar)
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
