A leading food manufacturing company in Aberdeen is seeking a Technical Manager to ensure best-in-class standards in food safety and compliance. The role involves leading technical functions, managing the Quality Management System, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in food manufacturing and a strong knowledge of food safety legislation, including BRC and HACCP.

We’re Hiring: Technical Manager – Food Manufacturing
Are you passionate about food safety, quality, and compliance? We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to take the lead in ensuring best-in-class standards at our high-grade food manufacturing site in Aberdeen.
- Lead all technical and food safety functions across the site
- Manage and develop the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Drive compliance with BRC, HACCP, and customer codes
- Support audits, investigations, and continuous improvements
- Mentor and develop QA and hygiene teams
- Proven experience in food manufacturing technical management
- Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP (Level 3 minimum), and food safety legislation
- Scientific/technical qualification (HND or degree)
- High Care/High Risk experience and auditing skills
You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our technical function, working in a collaborative, supportive environment with a strong focus on quality.
