This role involves preparing year-end accounts, assisting with VAT compliance, and coaching junior staff. The ideal candidate is AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA, with strong experience in practice. - Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Assisting with VAT compliance and advising clients on relevant issues
- Managing your own portfolio and building strong client relationships
- Coaching and supporting junior team members
- Developing your skills in cloud accounting platforms, including Xero
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
- Strong experience in accounts preparation within practice
- Solid understanding of UK tax compliance
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Comfortable using Excel, Word, and cloud-based tools
- Ongoing training and development through internal and external CPD
