- Preparing, setting up and maintaining equipment, ingredients, and materials for Food and DT lessons
- Ensuring classrooms, machinery, and tools are safe, clean, and ready for use
- Assisting teachers during lessons and supporting students with practical tasks where appropriate
- Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and managing the safe storage of resources
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations across the department
- Contributing to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the Food and DT areas
- Have previous experience in a technician role, catering, DT workshop environment, or similar practical setting
- Be confident with kitchen equipment, tools, and basic maintenance
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Be a team player who can work independently and proactively
- Bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to support a busy and dynamic department
