Well‑established food manufacturer in the Malton area is seeking a skilled Technical Manager—or an ambitious Quality Manager ready to take the next step—to lead site food safety, quality, and compliance. This is a confidential search, and discretion is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the site Technical and Quality functions, ensuring full compliance with customer, BRCGS, and legislative standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement across food safety, quality systems, and technical capability.
  • Oversee audits, specifications, HACCP, supplier approval, and customer technical relationships.
  • Provide strong leadership to the QA team, building a culture of accuracy, accountability, and high performance.
  • Partner with Operations, NPD, and Engineering to maintain product integrity and resolve technical issues.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Technical Manager or a Quality Manager seeking progression in the food manufacturing sector.
  • In‑depth knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, food safety legislation, and major retailer codes of practice.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional influence.
