We are currently looking for a qualified HGV Workshop Supervisor/Master Technician who takes pride in their work, excels in a team environment, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service and helping us deliver our fantastic first time MOT pass rates.

This is a permanent full-time role.

Our primary operating hours are between 07:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday, with Saturday morning work in line with the needs of the business, ordinarly between the hours of 07:00 - 13:00 on a fair share basis.

This specific role is for between 45 and 48 hours contractual working hours, per week (across the aforementioned hours), exact hours and salary to be discussed at interview stage, based on experience and job role requirements.

Company van available, subject to agreed job role and demands thereof.

Self-employed role/s also available.

You will be joining a small friendly team (circa. 12 employees) within a commercial workshop environment.

Your role will include

• As a HGV Mechanic/Technician you will be working alongside other experienced technicians on customers' vehicles in the area of maintenance, servicing and repair - to very high standards; both within a commercial workshop environment and off-site at customers own premises.

• The ability to work as part of a team or individually
• The ability to follow instructions from senior staff
• The ability to issue instructions to and QC other technicians
• The ability to help and aid in further development of apprenticeship staff
• The ability to complete work in a timely manner, whilst maintaining high standards
• Good customer service and communication skills
• An awareness of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment
• Good manual and practical skills
• Technically and practically minded
• Logical thinker

You'll also be hard working, flexible, have good attention to detail and adaptable.

Relevant qualifications and certifications are essential (e.g. C&G Level 3 in HGV or LGV Vehicle Servicing & Maintenance or equivalent) and evidence of continual professional development.

Relevant work experience and skills will also be taken into account.
