Job description

Due to continual growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified mechanic to join our team in Ripley to work on our ever-growing fleet of LGV’s.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the fleet compliance team to schedule and prioritise work.
  • Working with the parts departments to make sure correct parts are ordered.
Requirements
  • Needs to be self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
Experience
  • A minimum of Level 2 in motor vehicle service and maintenance technician (required).
  • A proven track record in vehicle maintenance and repair (preferred but not essential).
Licence / Certification
  • Full driving licence and own tools.
Job Types
