A large engineering firm is seeking semi-skilled fitters to join their team in Stretford. The role involves working in a 2-shift system with responsibilities including fitting operations using basic hand tools. Ideal candidates will have experience in a Continuous Improvement environment and good communication skills. Full training is provided, with potential for permanent position.

Conoscenze
Strip Down Department: Our client is a large engineering firm recruiting semi-skilled fitters to join the team. We look for candidates with the right attitude who want to learn and contribute to a team. Ideally, candidates must have experience in a Continuous Improvement environment and knowledge of 5S. You also need to be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and have used basic hand tools.
- Fitter role on a 2 shift system (Monday to Friday). Shift depends on the line you work on.
- Work on a long-term temporary basis with potential to lead to a permanent position.
- Complete duties with the use of basic hand tools as required.
- Full training is provided to the right candidates.
- Pass a drugs and alcohol test before starting.
- Rotating weeks with Mornings or Afternoons options:
- Mornings: Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 14:00; Friday 06:00 – 12:00
- Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00; Friday 12:00 – 18:00
- Working experience in a Continuous Improvement environment and knowledge of 5S.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Ability to learn quickly and contribute to a team environment.
