Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LCVs or HGVs in a workshop or fleet environment.
• IRTEC trained would be beneficial but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and specialist commercial vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure roadworthiness.
• Ensure all work complies with high safety and quality standards.

Location: Gloucester

Pay: £38,940

Hours: M-F 8am-5pm (42.5 hrs)

LCV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity

My client, a well-established company is actively seeing to employ an experienced and qualified LCV Technician for their depot in Gloucester. You will be working on an internal mixed fleet of commercial vehicles from Mercedes, Iveco and Ford. Excellent internal training with opportunities to increase salary by £2 per hour when modules passed and gaining Master Technician status

Responsibilities

• Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs and specialist commercial vehicles
• Working with industry-leading brands such as Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety, compliance, and quality standards
• Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections and ensuring roadworthiness
• Working as part of a supportive and experienced team in a well-equipped workshop

Qualifications / experience required

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Hands-on experience working with LCVs or HGVs in a workshop or fleet environment
• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for vehicle maintenance
• IRTEC trained would be beneficial but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
