In this role, you will take pride in constructing high-quality vehicle bodies using hand tools and following engineering drawings. The position involves working independently while adhering to health and safety standards. This full-time role offers up to £15.60 per hour for 45 hours per week with certain flexibility.

Overview

Vehicle Bodybuilder / Commercial Vehicle Body Fitter / Vehicle Panel Builder - Atworth, Wiltshire

Location: Atworth, Wiltshire

Salary: Up to £15.60 per hour

Hours: 45 hours per week - 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 14:30 Friday. Flexibility given and required.

We are looking for a hands-on, practical, and motivated Vehicle Bodybuilder / Commercial Vehicle Body Fitter / Vehicle Panel Builder to join a busy manufacturing operation. If you take pride in building high quality work from the ground up and love seeing the finished product roll out of the workshop, this one's right up your street.

Responsibilities
  • Working independently and using your own initiative to meet timelines and quality standards
  • Reading engineering drawings and working from works orders
  • Using hand tools, bench saws and measurement equipment safely and confidently
  • Installing insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies
  • Completing electrical terminations including lighting, switches and tail lifts
  • Sealing joints, floors and roofs using silicone and gel coatings
  • Cutting metals, woods and plastics using hand tools and bench equipment
  • Maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards in workshops and vehicles
