A specialist engineering service provider is seeking a Machine Tool Service Engineer to perform maintenance and repairs on CNC machines across Central England. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience with CNC tools, along with a willingness to travel. Competitive hourly pay and additional training opportunities are offered.

Salary: £18 - £22 per hour (DOE) + Overtime + Travel Pay
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm (Overtime Required)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Machine Tool Service Engineer/ Mechanical Fitter to join a specialist engineering service provider supporting high-level precision engineering firms. This is a field-based role, primarily covering Central England, with occasional overnight stays required.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of CNC machine tools across a variety of customer sites. From breakdown repairs to turret realignments or full spindle removals, this is a hands-on, problem-solving role ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and keeping machines running.
We're open to a variety of backgrounds for the right candidate. Ideally, you'll have experience in CNC machine maintenance or machine tool fitting, but if you're a time-served machinist or fitter with strong mechanical knowledge, training can be provided.
