Maintenance Fitter - Chipping Sodbury Salary: £13.29 per hour + Productivity Bonus

Join our team at Heidelberg Materials as a Maintenance Fitter and play a vital role in keeping our production plant operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.

• Support plant start-up and shut-down routines to maximise throughput
• Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment to meet productivity and maintenance KPIs
• Carry out mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Assist with planned shutdowns and ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical fault finding
• Maintain accurate records using our SAP-based maintenance system
• Train and supervise apprentices as required
• Travel to other local Heidelberg Materials sites when needed (travel allowance may apply)

• Mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial setting
• Ability to operate tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
