Job Title: Mechanical Assembly / Fitter

The Role

As a Mechanical Assembly Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the precision assembly of heat exchangers and associated equipment. You will be working from engineering drawings to build bespoke thermal units to exacting standards, ensuring the reliability and performance our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical components and heat exchanger units according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Fit, align, and secure parts using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Conduct pressure testing and quality checks on completed assemblies.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly or fitting, ideally within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
