Part-Time Credit Control / Finance Manager

📍 Redditch | 🕒 3 Days per Week (Office Based) | 💷 £28,000 – £35,000

Permanent Role – Engineering Business

We’re working with a well-established engineering company in Redditch who are looking to bring in an experienced Credit Control / Finance Manager to take full control of their finance function on a part-time basis.

This is a new role within the business, created to free up the Director and put the finance function in safe, experienced hands. They’re not looking for someone to “help out” they need someone who can come in, take ownership, and run it properly.

• Taking full responsibility for credit control and chasing outstanding payments
• Managing the sales and purchase ledgers
• Producing cashflow forecasts and reports
• Carrying out bank reconciliations
• Preparing monthly accounts and reports
• Working alongside the external accountants
• Tightening up processes and improving financial controls
• Acting as the go-to person for all things finance

• Someone with solid, hands-on experience in a senior credit control or finance role
• Comfortable working on their own initiative and making decisions
• Confident handling difficult payment conversations
• Well organised with strong attention to detail
• Qualified through experience, AAT or similar
• Engineering / manufacturing background would be useful but not essential

• £28,000 – £33,000 (depending on experience for 3 days per week)

• No micromanagement they want someone they can rely on

This role will suit someone who’s been around finance long enough to know what they’re doing and isn’t afraid to take control.
