Finance Manager

Location: Leeds (Hybrid Working 2/3 days in the office)

Salary: c.£60,000 - £65,000 + competitive bonus

About the Business: Our client is a fast growing IT business with offices in Leeds. With ambitious growth plans and a strong market presence, the company is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional looking to take the next step in their career within a forward-thinking and high performing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, develop and mentor a small finance team.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in line with IFRS 15 and internal policies.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly gross profit reports and margin performance.
  • Perform detailed revenue and cost analysis, identifying trends and variances.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, and other non-finance teams to provide financial insight and support strategic initiatives.
  • Support the annual audit process and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial control.
About You
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience, ideally with an understanding of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition principles.
  • Proven analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with strong business partnering skills.
  • Experience within a PE-backed or commercial environment is desirable.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to drive improvement and add value.
