Job summary
A large Utilities Company is seeking an experienced Finance Director to manage financial resources and lead the finance team. The ideal candidate will have a PQE, ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification and experience in contract costing. This role involves providing financial expertise and supporting the Managing Director in strategic planning. Strong people management and communication skills are essential.

- Qualified as PQE, ACA, CIMA or ACCA.
- Previous experience of contract/job costing.
- Experience managing finance teams.

- Provide financial information to senior managers.
- Allocate financial resources effectively.
- Manage cash and working capital.

- to support the Managing Director in the development and implementation of commercial strategy and business plan
- to produce accurate and timely management information and reporting schedules; contracts; and
- to liaise with external auditors
The successful applicant must:
- be PQE, ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
- have previous experience of contract/job (small works) costing
- have commercial awareness
- have strong people management skills
- be an effective communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- have the ability to contribute to day to day operations, as well as strategically
