How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage daily settlement payments to merchants across Europe (8 countries).
- Perform daily transaction and payment reconcilations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Complete and validate monthly reconciliations, interrogating data to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile network cash for IAD (Independent ATM Deployment) networks, investigating variances and liaising with internal and external stakeholders (globally).
- Maintain and update the merchant bank account database, ensuring data integrity.
- Set up new merchant commission (residual) deals and payment terms in the accounting system.
- Prepare and distribute monthly merchant commission statements and dispute letters.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls and procedures related to merchant payments, recommending improvements where appropriate.
- Generate daily reports to support Operational Finance team activities.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer database, resolving any inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of new processes and systems.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and insights as required.
- Contribute to incident management and resolution within the team.
- Stay informed on deal structures to identify and challenge inaccuracies or misinformation.
- Participate in project work, providing assistance and support where required.
