A growing retail business in East Hagbourne is seeking a Financial Controller to lead core financial operations. The role involves ensuring accuracy and compliance in reports while mentoring the finance team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in financial controls and retail environments. This hands-on position offers a pathway to Head of Finance, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact in a high-growth environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years as a Financial Controller in a reasonably complex business.
- Experience in consumer goods/retail and fast-paced environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong compliance focus.
Responsabilités
- Lead all aspects of financial control, including management accounting.
- Implement and optimise financial systems and controls.
- Provide confidence in financial reporting to stakeholders.
