Senior Accountant (Hybrid) needed in Worthing, £23.38ph PAYE - Reference: 5275039

• As a Senior Accountant, reporting to the Principal Accountant within the Accounting section, you will work as part of the wider finance function, supporting financial operations.
• Your role will be to provide accountancy support to Heads of Service & Budget Managers.
• You will assist these Managers in managing their financial affairs, including preparing revenue budgets, final accounts, and regular monitoring of specified services during the clients’ annual budget cycle, closure of accounts, and monthly reporting cycles.
• This will be in accordance with set deadlines.
• Your role will also include participation in specified projects, providing ad hoc financial advice, proposing options, and solutions for financial issues raised by departmental projects.
• Your manager will empower you to apply our principles—resilience, adaptability, and participation—in your working practices.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
