Overview

Role: Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant

Location: Bexhill

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm, with lunch between 1:00pm - 2:00pm). Minimum 30 hours / 4 days per week considered.

Pay: From £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role
  • Manage a portfolio of client bookkeeping and VAT return requirements
  • Undertake bookkeeping for clients and complete VAT returns as necessary
  • Prepare management accounts as required
  • Prepare and file CIS returns
  • Assist managers with accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Schedule and control deadlines and regular work as required
  • Keep directors informed of assignments in progress
