A leading UK infrastructure company is seeking a motivated Senior Planner for the Transport for Greater Manchester framework. This position involves managing project delivery, collaborating with various stakeholders, and supporting a planning team while meeting strict deadlines. The ideal candidate should have experience in the construction industry, particularly in rail, with proficiency in Primavera P6. - Experience of working in the construction industry, particularly Rail.
- Understanding of construction processes and sequences.
- NEC form of contract knowledge.
- Proficient in Primavera P6.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Manage the delivery of programmes in line with MSI Planning Standards.
- Coordinate information and produce programme updates.
- Manage change, risk, and opportunities.
- Communicate programme strategy clearly.
- Support and mentor the planning team.
- Review drawings and calculate activity durations.
- Review sub-contractor programmes and integrate.
- Ensure timely production of the programme.
