A renowned food processing company in Wisbech is seeking an Environmental Advisor to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and promote sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ISO 14001/50001 standards and experience in a manufacturing setting. The role includes managing audits, monitoring resource use, and delivering training on sustainable practices.
Job Title: Environmental Advisor (£40,000 per annum)
Department: Safety, Health and Environmental
Reports to: Safety, Health and Environmental Manager
Overall Role Purpose
The Environmental Advisor will support the site in ensuring compliance with environmental and energy legislation, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, and company sustainability goals. You will provide technical expertise, promote best practice in environmental and energy management, and drive continuous improvement in reducing environmental impact and energy use across the manufacturing plant.

Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Good understanding of environmental and energy legislation/regulatory requirements.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all times.
