Job summary

A leading in-flight entertainment provider in the UK is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its team. The chosen candidate will conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for in-flight entertainment systems on various aircraft models. Essential qualifications include an A, B1, or B2 license with type ratings on several aircraft. This full-time position involves 12-hour shifts and requires physical stamina and proficiency in communication. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

  • Must have an A or B1 or B2 license with Type Rating on (A380, A350, A330, A320, 787, 777, 767).
  • Experience in commercial aviation, military service, or technical school preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure various working positions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct line maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations on IFE systems.
  • Perform built-in and manual tests, troubleshoot failures, and replace defective parts.
  • Interface with customers, document repairs, and assist in inventory tracking.

Skills

Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions

Education

A or B1 or B2 license with Type Rating
