Job summary
A recruitment agency is currently seeking an experienced Contract React Engineer for a 6-month hybrid role in Belfast. This position involves leading front-end architecture, implementing performant code, and collaborating with product and support teams. Candidates must possess expert-level skills in React 18+ and TypeScript, along with a strong understanding of architectural principles. The position offers a competitive rate, outside IR35, and the opportunity to lead within complex web applications.
Qualifications
- Expert level skills with React 18+ and TypeScript essential.
- Strong architectural understanding: micro-front-ends and design systems.
- Experience in Tailwind CSS, React Hooks, and Cypress.
- Ability to guide and support other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead React front-end architecture and development.
- Build new features and maintain reusable components.
- Implement high-quality, performant, test-driven code.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and back-end teams.
- Support issue resolution and continuous improvement.
