Teaching Personnel is urgently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Manager to join welcoming and dynamic secondary schools in Newport.

As a Behaviour Support Manager, you will:
Supervise classroom activities in the absence of a teacher
Distribute and manage pre-prepared classwork
Promote a calm, focused, and inclusive classroom environment
Work closely with teaching staff to provide a consistent approach
Help pupils engage positively with their learning and their peers
We’re seeking candidates with the following attributes:
Empathy and a calm, supportive nature
Confidence in managing classroom behaviour
Team player with strong communication skills
Adaptable and patient with a positive attitude
Previous experience with young people is desirable – but not essential!
Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate (can be arranged with our support)
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Two recent references (covering the last 24 months)
Willingness to learn and engage with professional development
