Job description

We’re looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee social housing projects. You’ll manage electricians and subcontractors, carry out surveys, and ensure safe, compliant, high‑quality work across tenanted and void properties. This is a hands‑on leadership role with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and tenant satisfaction.

Location: Dartford

Salary up to: £50,000

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support electricians across housing contracts
• Conduct electrical surveys, inspections, and EICRs
• Ensure compliance with regulations and health & safety standards
• Manage workloads, schedules, and material ordering
• Provide technical guidance to teams and clients
• Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and internal departments
• Carry out quality checks and remedial inspections
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

• Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2 or equivalent)
• Experience in social housing (voids, repairs, planned works)
• Strong knowledge of IEE Wiring Regulations
• Supervisory or leadership experience (or ready to step up)
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
