A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to manage a team and work on sustainable infrastructure projects in Birmingham. Applicants should have a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering and significant experience in electrical designs using tools like Revit and Amtech. My client, a market leading Building Services Consultancy who specialise in MEP Services and Sustainable Infrastructure, are searching for an Electrical Design Engineer to join and manage their team in Birmingham.
Candidates are required have a BSc and/or MSc in Electrical, Construction or Building Services Engineering and have vast experience completing electrical designs for construction, commercial and residential schemes using revit, DIAlux or Amtech.
It is beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects and liaising with contractors, designers and clients to discuss project specifications and designs at sites across the region.
Candidates will be required to reside locally to work on a hybrid basis, from the office, home and regional sites.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will join a supportive team based in Birmingham to complete sustainable electrical designs for construction sites, education, healthcare, leisure, residential, and commercial using Revit, Amtech, DIAlux, Relux and AutoCAD.
You will also be required to check technical work, mentor team members and complete complex electrical designs for mixed use developments.
You will also be expected to deliver projects to time and budget, meeting Clients expectations and assist with site visits to meet and coordinate between internal and external design teams, clients, architects and contractors to discuss sustainable design concepts.
