Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for a 12-month LNG FEED project based in Leatherhead. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in gas processing and electrical systems design up to 132kV, with a preference for background knowledge of Aramco standards. Qualifications
- Typically 12 years of experience working for a consultant engineering company or similar.
- Demonstrable experience with electrical system design for voltages up to 132kV.
Responsibilities
- Work within the client’s team on an LNG FEED project.
- Design electrical distribution systems and interface with grid companies.
- Ensure compliance with Aramco Standards and Grid Code requirements.
Skills
To work within our client’s team on an LNG FEED project with an anticipated duration of 12 months.
This role is based 5 days a week in our Leatherhead office and is inside IR35.
Ideally have previous Aramco experience, but not essential.
£50ph PAYE (£66ph Umbrella) - INSIDE IR35 (Please advise rate sought PAYE / Umbrella, if you seek higher)
- Principal Electrical Engineer to work within our client’s team on an LNG FEED project.
- Candidates must have previous Aramco experience.
- Typically the required competency and skills would have been built up over a 12 year period working for a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end user company.
- Strong gas processing or LNG experience.
- Conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED experience.
- Demonstrable experience designing electrical systems for voltages up to 132kV including overhead lines, reactive power compensation and brownfield modifications.
- Experience designing 132kV electrical distribution systems, interfacing with grid company, protection requirements and brownfield modifications.
- Knowledge of Aramco Standards and Grid Code requirements.
